Laser Micromachining Cluster Toolas
The Toolas cluster (prev. VITEK) comprises companies that operate in the fields of laser and light technologies, IT, robotics, electronics and related sectors. The cluster community started its activities in 2015 based on scientific and territorial cooperation. The main goal of Toolas is to provide and develop cooperation favorable infrastructure, comfortable environment for pooling of cluster members' R&D activities and related competences for implementation of innovative projects, resulting in higher value added products and technologies. Cluster members: UAB ADOS-tech, UAB Aktyvus Photonics, UAB Akoneer, UAB Direct Machining Control, UAB Ekstremalė, UAB Femtika, UAB Informacinės konsultacijos, UAB Light Conversion, UAB Machine One, UAB Monospektra, UAB Optogama, UAB Optonas, UAB Protogama, Vilniaus universitetas, Workshop of Photonics. Associated members: Edmund Optics, Lumibird. Cluster coordinator: Visoriai Information Technology Park (VITP).
Science Publishing Cluster
The activities of the cluster are related to the initiation and implementation of innovative IT solutions and innovative science and educational publishing technologies based on the long-term practical experience of the cluster partners, knowledge, methodological and scientific experience and the latest achievements in Lithuania and abroad. The aim of the cluster is to create and promote the creation and marketing of services and products that would increase added value to the members and corporate clients of the cluster. Cluster members: Ex Datum, ImPro, Leidykla TEV, Visoriai Information Technology Park (VITP), VTeX, VTEX Investicijos and The Association of Lithuanian Serials.
Lithuanian Space Cluster
The Lithuanian Space Cluster (LSC) brings together Lithuanian companies operating in and developing the field of space technology. The LSC was established in 2021 at the Visoriai Information Technology Park by 4 companies – Kongsberg NanoAvionics, Geomatrix, Blackswan Space and Novian Pro. In 2023, Sensmetry became a part of the cluster. In 2024, Astrolight became a member of the cluster. The community's competences include the design and manufacture of small satellites, mission simulation and design, satellite data processing and analysis, and various software solutions. They provide their services to public institutions as well as to private clients in Lithuania and abroad. The mission of the cluster is to provide opportunities for the development of space technology businesses in Lithuania and abroad by combining the competences of its members, finding new customers and promoting the application of space technologies at regional and national levels. Cluster coordinator: Visoriai Information Technology Park.
Information and communication technologies
The first private IT company in Lithuania Baltic Amadeus private limited company has been operating in Visoriai since 1988 and creates value for Northern Europe and other worldwide markets. The VITP develops software, IT systems, web solutions and mobile apps for Lithuanian and global markets. Innovative and unique systems allow to offer solutions tailored to the needs of each client, optimize and automate business processes, monitor performance, and facilitate management of technological processes. The VITP also renders 3D design services and develops 3D inventory add-ons for asset accounting systems, providing exceptional opportunities for creating 3D images and objects for businesses.
Photonic technologies
The photonics companies based in the VITP are developing innovative products based on the generation, use and modification of light or energy flow for certain parameters. The photonics companies produce optical components, develop laser processing and light technologies, integrate optical technologies into complex industrial solutions, design laser sources and optical devices and software to control laser systems. Products of the photonics companies are used in laser-based companies, in the material processing industry, in optical communication systems (including machine vision) and for scientific applications.
Also the VITP companies conduct applied and experimental development projects in the field of optical technologies, optical signal processing and transmission. Our companies and organizations active in the fields of laser and light technology and implementing joint projects are brought together by the TOOLAS cluster. Technologies developed by Optogama private limited company are characterized by innovative approach, flexible solutions that meet different needs of customers, at the same time ensuring high quality of standard products. On the other hand, a new 4Lasers division offers the highest quality laser accessories, optical elements and various crystal supplies for UV, VIS and NIR spectroscopy.
